Bugiardīni

Bugiardīni (spr. -dschar-), Giuliano, ital. Maler, geb. 29. Jan. 1475 in Florenz, gest. daselbst 16. Febr. 1554, war Schüler des Mariotto Albertinelli und des D. Ghirlandajo, dann eine Zeitlang Gehilfe des Michelangelo und zumeist in Florenz, kurze Zeit auch in Rom und Bologna tätig. Seine Arbeiten bilden ein Gemisch von Leonardo, Mariotto und Michelangelo. Seine Hauptwerke sind die Marter der heil. Katharina (Santa Maria Novella in Florenz), Johannes der Täufer (Santa Maria delle Grazie in Mailand), die Verlobung der heil. Katharina (Pinakothek zu Bologna), eine Madonna mit Heiligen (Berliner Museum) und eine Madonna mit Johannes dem Täufer (Museum zu Leipzig).
