Bafira (Basra), Hauptort eines Kaza im asiatisch-türk. Wilajet Trapezunt, am Kisil Irmak (Halys) unweit seiner Mündung ungesund gelegen, mit 6000 Einw., davon 2500 Griechen, Zentrum des dortigen Tabakbaues (jährlich 2–3,5 Mill. kg).
