Myra, Stadt in Lykien, wo der Apostel Paulus landete, bei Theodosius II. Hauptstadt des Landes, 3 km vom Meer. Hier war zu Anfang des 4. Jahrh. der heil. Nikolaus Bischof. Ruinen, Theater, Felsengräber mit Inschriften etc. beim heutigen Dorf Kjöidschük.
