Lányi (spr. lānji), Bartholomäus, ungar. Politiker, geb. 1851 in Hibbe (Liptau), studierte die Rechte, wurde 1873 Rechtsanwalt und betrat 1884 die richterliche Laufbahn. 1891 dem Justizministerium zugeteilt, wurde er im Januar 1905 als Anhänger Tiszas zum Abgeordneten gewählt und 18. Juni d. J. zum Justizminister im Kabinett Féjerváry ernannt.
