Kojang (Coyang, niederländ. Koijan), zunächst ein Hohlmaß, auch für flüssige Waren, in Benkulen auf Sumatra zu 800 Kulahs = 3303 Lit., in Atschin zu 10 Göntscha = 1330 L., auf Pulo Pinang zu 800 Gantang = 3561 L., bei Reis etwa 45 und bei Salz 63 chinesische Pikols schwer; sodann Gewicht: in Padang auf Sumatra für Salz, in Cheribon und Surabaja auf Java zu 30 Pikols = 1845,63 kg, in Batavia zu 27 Pikols = 1661 kg, in Samarang = 28 und in Bantam = 64 Pikols oder 200 Gantang = 3937 kg, auf den Molukken zu 25 Pikols für Reis = 1476,5 kg.
