Apeldoorn

Apeldoorn, Flecken in der niederländ. Provinz Geldern, am Apeldoornschen Kanal, Knotenpunkt an der Eisenbahn Amsterdam-Winterswijk, mit (1900) 25,834 Einw. und zahlreichen Papierfabriken, die zum großen Teil für Ostindien arbeiten. In der Nähe liegt das Lustschloß Loo, Sommeraufenthalt der königlichen Familie, mit schönem Park.
