Hydrométer (griech., »Wassermesser«), Instrument zur Messung der Geschwindigkeit des fließenden Wassers, wie die Pitotsche Röhre, der Stromquadrant, der hydrometrische Flügel, das Hydrotachometer etc. (s. Geschwindigkeitsmessung). H. auch soviel wie Aräometer.
