Haste, Dorf im preuß. Regbez. und Landkreis Osnabrück, an der Nette, hat (1900) 1800 Einw. In der Nähe befinden sich der Piesberg mit Steinbrüchen, Steinkohlengruben und Zementfabrik. Erinnerungen an die Sachsenkriege bieten die Karlsteine und das Grab der Gheva, Wittekinds Gemahlin.
