Guadalūpe-Hidálgo

Guadalūpe-Hidálgo (spr. ŭa-), Wallfahrtsort 7 km nördlich von Mexiko, mit prachtvoller, seit 1709 erbauter Kirche mit wundertätigem braunen Marienbild und (1900) 5834 Einw. In dem hier 2. Febr. 1848 abgeschlossenen Frieden trat Mexiko seine nördlichen Gebiete an die Vereinigten Staaten ab.
