Güll

Güll, Friedrich Wilhelm, Kinderliederdichter, geb. 1. April 1812 in Ansbach, gest. 24. Dez. 1879 in München, bezog 1829 das Schullehrerseminar in Altdorf und wurde 1842 Lehrer an der protestantischen Pfarrschule zu München, wo er 1844 auch einen Privatkursus für Tochter aus den höhern Ständen eröffnete, den er 27 Jahre lang leitete. Außer belehrenden Kinderschriften, z. B. »Systematische Bilderschule« (Nürnb. 1847–51, 2 Bde.), veröffentlichte er: »Kinderheimat in Liedern und Bildern« (mit Zeichnungen von Graf Pocci und Bürkner; neue Ausg., Gütersloh 1876; 6. Aufl. 1889; Auswahl, das. 1901); »Weihnachtsbilder« (Berl. 1840); »Neue Bilder für Kinder« (mit Zeichnungen von Tony Muttenthaler, Münch. 1848); »Perlen aus dem Schatz deutscher Lyrik« (das. 1850); »Leitstern auf der Lebensfahrt, ein Spruchbrevier« (Leipz. 1881) und »Rätselstübchen« (hrsg. von Lohmeyer, Glogau 1882). Gülls Kinderlieder zeichnen sich durch glückliche Auffassung des kindlichen Geistes und Gemüts aus und sind besonders durch die Kompositionen von W. Taubert bekannt geworden. Vgl.
