Duars (arab.), in Nordafrika, besonders Algerien, die Zeltkreise arabischer Nomaden, bestehen aus zehn und mehr Zelten; oft wird das Zelt des Hauptführers von mehreren hundert D. in konzentrischen Formen umgeben und so die Smalah gebildet.
