Cremōna, ital. Provinz in der Lombardei, umfaßt die von der Adda, dem Oglio und dem Po umschlossene Ebene, grenzt im N. an die Provinzen Bergamo, Brescia, im W. an Mailand, im S. an Piacenza, Parma, Reggio, im O. an Mantua, ist 1799 qkm (32,7 QM.) groß und hat (1901) 327,838 Einw. (182 auf 1 qkm) Sie zerfällt in drei Kreise: C., Crema und Casalmaggiore.
