Cotswold Hills, Höhenzug im südwestlichen England, begrenzt, 86 km lang, die fruchtbare Talebene von Gloucester, scheidet das Becken des Severn von dem der Themse und steigt im Cleeve Hill bis zu 346 m an. Am Ostabhang die »Sieben Quellen«, aus denen die Themse entspringt. Den Namen verdankt er den cotsHütten«) der Hirten.
