Bonus

Bonus (lat., »gut«), in England Bezeichnung der bei Finanzoperationen und Aktienunternehmungen erzielten Prämien und Extradividenden, insbes. des Gewinnes, den derjenige macht, der bei Anlehen die zu begebenden Papiere zu geringerm Kurs übernimmt, um sie bei dem Publikum unterzubringen (vgl. Staatsschulden); dann auch der nach dem Reingewinn bemessene Zuschuß, den der Arbeiter bei dem Gewinnbeteiligungssystem erhält (vgl. Arbeitslohn, S. 690).
