Worksop (spr. ŭörkßŏp), Stadt im nördlichen Nottinghamshire (England), hat eine ehemalige Abteikirche (teilweise normannisch), Fabrikation von Ackergeräten, Dreschmaschinen und Chemikalien, Eisengießerei, Sägemühlen und (1901) 16,112 Einw. Dabei mehrere prächtige Landsitze und Parke, wie Worksop Manor (Herzog von Newcastle), Welbeck Abbey (Herzog von Portland), Clumber Park (Herzog von Newcastle), Thoresby Park (Graf von Manvers) u. a., weshalb die Gegend die »dukeries« heißt.
