Topsöe, Wilhelm Sigurd, dän. Schriftsteller, geb. 5. Okt. 1840, gest. 11. Juli 1881, war seit 1872 Redakteur des »Dagblads«. Von seinen Novellen und Schilderungen seien »Jason mit dem Goldenen Vlies« (1875), »Bilder aus der Gegenwart« (1878), »Aus dem Studienbuch« (1879), »Geschlagene Leute« (1882), »Aus Amerika« (1872) und »Politische Porträtstudien« (1889) besonders hervorgehoben. Scharfer psychologischer Blick und verhaltene Satire sind die Hauptmerkmale dieses eigenartigen Schilderers der dänischen Aristokratie und höhern Bourgeoisie.
