Tonbridge (Tunbridge, spr. tönnbriddsch), Stadt in der engl. Grafschaft Kent, am schiffbaren Medway, hat eine Freibibliothek, Schloßruine (12. Jahrh.) mit normannischem Torweg, eine 1553 gegründete Lateinschule, bedeutenden Handel und (1901) 12,736 Einw.
