Schokland (spr. ß-chockland), niederländ. Insel im W. des Zuidersees, unweit der Küste, gegenüber der Ysselmündung, sehr schmal, niedrig und sumpfig, mit Leuchtturm, früher bewohnt (ungefähr 700 Einw.), aber seit 1859 infolge wiederholter Überschwemmungen auf Befehl der Regierung verlassen.
