Portion (lat.), abgemessener Teil, besonders von Speisen etc. (s. Eisern). Kanonische P. (Portio canonica), das Einkommen eines Kanonikus aus den Einkünften des Stiftes sowie der Anteil von hinterlassenen Einkünften eines Geistlichen, den der Prälat oder Bischof empfängt. Portio congrua, Minimalsatz des kirchlichen Amtseinkommens.
