Parablást (griech.), Nebenkeim, im Gegensatz zum Hauptkeim (Archiblast), den eigentlichen Embryonalzellen, jene zelligen Elemente, die im Dotter enthalten sind und zu dessen Verarbeitung für den Embryo beitragen, wohl (nach früherer Auffassung) auch vom mütterlichen Körper zum Keim beigetragene Elemente (Parablastentheorie von W. His).
