Nutans (lat., »nickend«), soviel wie überhängend, in der botanischen Terminologie für Stengel, Blütenstände, Blüten oder Früchte gebraucht, deren Stiele mit ihrer Spitze in einem Bogen gegen die Erde gekrümmt sind, z. B. bei Carduus n., Silene n.
