London, 1) Stadt im reichsten Ackerbaudistrikte der kanadischen Provinz Ontario, an der Thames, Knotenpunkt von acht Eisenbahnen, Sitz der Western University, einer anglikanischen Theologenschule, des presbyterianischen Knox Kollege und eines Lehrerseminars, treibt Maschinenbau, Ackergerätefabrikation, Müllerei, Brauerei, Brennerei und lebhaften Handel und hat (1901) 37,981 Einw. – 2) Hauptstadt der Grafschaft Madison im nordamerikanischen Staat Ohio, Bahnknotenpunkt, hat Vieh- und Produktenhandel und (1900) 3511 Einw.
