Jardinière (franz., spr. schardinjǟr', »Gärtnerin«), Blumentischchen oder verzierte beckenförmige, zur Aufnahme von Blumen oder Pflanzen bestimmte Vase aus Porzellan, Fayence, Silber, Alfenid, Bronze, Cuivre poli. – In der Kochkunst heißt à la j. die Garnierung mit allerlei Gemüsen; Suppe à la j., Fleischbrühe mit eingeschnittenen Gemüsestückchen: grünen Erbsen, Blumenkohl, Möhren etc.
