Antoninus-Wall, Grenzwall gegen Schottland, von Agricola begonnen, von den Kaisern Antoninus Pius und Severus vollendet, erstreckt sich von Carriden am Forth bis zum Dunglaß Point am Clyde. Beim Volk sind seine Überreste als Graham's Dyke bekannt. Dunglaß Point krönt jetzt ein Standbild Henry Bells, des Einführers der Dampfschiffahrt.
