Hydrĭa

Hydrĭa (auch Kalpis, lat. Urna), bauchiger, kurzhalsiger Wasserkrug der Griechen, oft mit drei Henkeln, zwei kleinern zum Heben und einem hinten angebrachten zum Schöpfen und Ausgießen (s. Abbildung).
