Kirchen, einer Synagoge, hat Tabak-, Wein- und Obstbau, Lederfabrikation und (1897) 7600 Einw. G. ist im 18. Jahrh. vom Fürsten Gregor Potemkin angelegt worden. – 2) Flecken im kaukas. Gouv. Stawropol, am rechten Ufer des Kuban, 1794 von Donischen Kosaken begründet, hat ca. 4000 Einw.
