Graphic (spr. gräffick), Titel einer seit Dezember 1869 in London erscheinenden illustrierten Wochenschrift für die Schilderung der politischen und unpolitischen Tagesereignisse, für Kunst, Wissenschaft und Literatur. Durch die Mitarbeiterschaft der hervorragendsten englischen Maler und Zeichner, darunter Millais, Leighton, Herkomer, Alma-Tadema, J. Gilbert, und durch die Schnelligkeit, mit der die bildlichen Darstellungen den Tagesereignissen folgten, nahm der G. bald einen solchen Aufschwung, daß die Auflage bisweilen auf 200,000 Exemplare stieg. Die jährlich erscheinende, z. T. farbig illustrierte Weihnachtsnummer erreicht eine Auflage von über 500,000 Exemplaren. – Der seit Januar 1890 von den Besitzern des G, H. R. Baines u. Komp., herausgegebene »Daily G.« ist die erste illustrierte Tageszeitung Englands (politisch parteilos).
