Ambrŏnes

Ambrŏnes, gallisches Volk von vielleicht germanischer Abstammung, kämpften mit den Cimbern und Teutonen 105 v. Chr. gegen die Römer unter Manlius und Cäpio und wurden bei Aquä Sextiä 102 von Marius vernichtet.
