Albay, Hauptstadt der gleichnamigen Provinz (4107 qkm mit [1899] 247,075 Einw.), auf der Halbinsel Camarines der Philippineninsel Luzon, 3 km von der Bai von A., wo ein Hafen; (1899) 34,000 Einw. Im N. der früher gefürchtete Vulkan A. (El Máyon, 2374 m).
