Corpŏra amylacĕa

Corpŏra amylacĕa (lat.), meist nur mikroskopisch wahrnehmbare, homogene oder konzentrisch geschichtete, matt glänzende Körperchen; sie treten im Gefolge lokaler Krankheiten in verschiedenen Organen und Neubildungen, besonders massenhaft bei der einfachen grauen Degeneration im Nervensystem und bei alten Männern in der Vorsteherdrüse auf und sind hier oft mit bloßem Auge als braune Körperchen wahrnehmbar. Ihre pathologische Bedeutung ist unbekannt. Sie werden wie Stärke durch Jod blau gefärbt.
