Cepheus

Cepheus (auch Andromedae pater), Sternbild des nördlichen Himmels, enthält fünf Sterne von 3. Größe sowie den rötesten Stern am ganzen Himmel (μ), Herschels Granatstern (vgl. Tafel »Fixsterne« mit Textbeilage). Seinen Namen führt es nach C. (Kepheus), König der Äthiopier, Gemahl der Kassiepeia und Vater der Andromeda.
