Centrospermae (Zentrospermen), Abteilung der dikotylen Pflanzen, charakterisiert durch einfächerige Fruchtknoten mit einer zentral- und grundständigen, ein- oder vieleiigen Placenta, meist krautige, bisweilen blumenblattlose, meist mit Kelch und Krone versehene Gewächse mit einem oder zwei Staubblattkreisen und 2–5 zu einem oberständigen Fruchtknoten verwachsenen Fruchtblättern. Die Abteilung umfaßt die Familien der Polygonazeen, Chenopodiazeen, Amarantazeen, Phytolakkazeen, Nyktaginiazeen, Karyophyllazeen, Aizoazeen, Portulakazeen, Basellazeen.
