Acherūsia, Name mehrerer Seen und Sümpfe, die, wie den Acheron, die Mythe der Alten mit der Unterwelt in Verbindung brachte: so ein See bei Hermione in Argolis; ein andrer bei Cumä in Kampanien (jetzt Lago di Fusaro); besonders aber der 3 km lange Sumpf in Epirus, den der Acheron (s. d.) durchfließt.
