Biggleswade (spr. biggelsŭēd), Stadt in Bedfordshire (England), am schiffbaren Ivel, nach einem großen Brand 1785 fast ganz neu erbaut, hat Fahrradfabrikation und (1901) 5120 Einw. In der Nähe Arlesey mit schöner gotischer Kirche.
