Zafra, Bezirkshauptstadt in der span. Provinz Badajoz, an den Eisenbahnen Merida-Sevilla und Z.-Huelva, hat einen gotischen Palast der Herzoge von Medinaceli (1437), Wein- und Ölbau, Gerberei, bedeutende Viehmärkte und (1900) 6136 Einw.
