Uttoxeter (spr. öttóckßiter), Stadt in Staffordshire (England), am Dove, hat eine 1828 erneuerte Kirche mit Resten der alten aus dem 14. Jahrh., eine Brauerei, Ziegeleien, Fabrikation von Ackergeräten, eine alte Lateinschule und (1901) 5133 Einw. Hier bestand eine römische Ansiedelung. Der Uttoxeterkanal, 29 km lang, führt zum Caldonkanal bei Cheddleton.
