Sandal Magna (spr. ßändel-), Stadt im Westbezirk von Yorkshire (England), 3 km südöstlich von Wakefield, mit (1901) 6843 Einw. Unweit spärliche Überreste von Sandal Castle (einst Residenz Richards III.), nahe dem Schlachtfeld von Wakefield (s. d.).
