San Sepolcro (Borgo S.), Stadt in der ital. Provinz und dem Kreise Arezzo, 340 m ü. M., im obern Tibertal, am Fuß der Alpe della Luna, an der Eisenbahn Arezzo-Fossato, von Mauern umgeben, Bischofssi tz, hat eine Kathedrale aus dem 11.–14. Jahrh., andre Kirchen aus dem 14. Jahrh. und ein Stadthaus (15. Jahrh.), sämtlich mit Gemälden der hier gebornen Maler Piero della Francesca und Raffaello dal Colle, eine Zitadelle (13.–16. Jahrh.), zahlreiche alte Paläste, ein Lyzeum, ein Gymnasium, eine Technische Schule, ein Seminar, eine Bibliothek, ein Spital (seit 1466), Schafwollweberei und (1901) 3982 (als Gemeinde 8976) Einw.
