Reinländer

Reinländer, Wilhelm, Freiherr von, österreich. General, geb. 20. Juni 1829 in Pausram (Mähren), trat 1845 in die Armee, machte 1848 und 1849 die Feldzüge in Ungarn mit, wurde 1854 Hauptmann im Generalstab, nahm 1859 am italienischen Feldzug teil, wurde 1864 Major und Professor der Taktik an der Kriegsschule, machte 1866 als Oberstleutnant den Feldzug gegen Preußen mit und wurde 1870 Generalstabschef beim Generalkommando in Ofen; 1878 beteiligte er sich an der Spitze der 14. Infanterietruppen-Division an der Okkupation Bosniens. 1882 in den Freiherrenstand erhoben, 1884 Kommandant der 28. Infanterietruppen-Division und 1886 Kommandant, dann kommandierender General des 10. Korps in Brünn, mit dem er im Herbst 1889 nach Przemysl übersiedelte, erhielt er 1889 den Rang eines Feldzeugmeisters, 1891 das Kommando des 3. Korps in Steiermark und wurde 1897 Generaltruppeninspektor. 1905 trat er in den Ruhestand. Er veröffentlichte: »Vorträge über die Taktik« (Wien 1871–72, 2 Bde.).
