Public Record Office (spr. -óssis), das englische Staatsarchiv, das die öffentlichen Urkunden (records) enthält. Dessen Vorstand ist der Master of the Rolls, unter dem als eigentlicher Staatsarchivar der Deputy Keeper of the Records steht.
