Phosphīne

Phosphīne (Phosphorbasen), organische Basen, die sich vom Phosphorwasserstoff PH3 ableiten, wie die Ammoniakbasen vom Ammoniak NH3 (s. Basen), indem die Wasserstoffatome durch Alkoholradikale ersetzt werden. So entstehen z. B.

Man erhält P. durch Erhitzen von Iodphosphonium mit Alkyljodiden, sie riechen äußerst unangenehm, betäubend, lösen sich kaum in Wasser, leicht in Alkohol und Äther und sind sehr schwache Basen (die Salze der primären Basen werden durch Wasser zerlegt), leicht entzündlich; die primären und sekundären entzünden sich schon bei Berührung mit der Luft, und bei vorsichtiger Oxydation geben sie Oxyde oder Säuren.

Die tertiären P. verbinden sich mit Alkyljodiden zu Phosphoniumjodiden [Methylphosphoniumjodid P(CH3)4J], aus denen Silberoxyd die stark basische Phosphoniumbase Tetramethylphosphoniumhydroxyd P(CH3)4.OH abscheidet.
